Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-05-26
Note: This notice has been drafted for plain-language clarity. We recommend a final review by qualified counsel before reliance.
The Margin Labs is committed to making themarginlabs.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains our current position, what we are doing to improve, and how to report a problem.
Our commitment
We believe accessibility is not a compliance checkbox — it is how good design works. We aim to ensure that every visitor, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use, can access our content, book a call, and engage with our services.
This site is operated by The Margin Labs, a trading name of Pink Commerce Ltd (company number 15562017, registered in England and Wales). We work to meet the requirements of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (PSBAR) where applicable, and the spirit of the US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for our US visitors.
Standards we aim for
This site aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. We test against:
Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
Colour contrast — Ink (#0E243B) on Mist (#F4F6F8) achieves a contrast ratio exceeding 14:1. Margin Gold (#EBA52F) on Ink (#0E243B) achieves approximately 4.7:1, meeting the AA threshold for normal text.
Screen-reader landmarks — the page is structured with appropriate HTML5 landmark elements (main, nav, footer, article, section) and ARIA labels where needed.
Alt text — all meaningful images carry descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked aria-hidden.
Reduced-motion preference — animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Our motion library (Framer Motion) honours this preference and reduces or eliminates transitions for users who have requested it.
Forms — all form fields have associated labels and accessible error messages.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
Video captions: The placeholder video on the homepage will need closed captions and a full transcript when the real video content is uploaded. We will add both before the video is published.
Booking embed: The Cal.com booking iframe inherits the accessibility behaviour of Cal.com's own platform. We rely on Cal.com's conformance for that component and have no direct control over it. If you experience difficulties with the booking embed, please email us directly at hello@themarginlabs.com and we will book you in manually.
PDF documents: Any audit documents delivered to clients may not currently meet WCAG PDF/UA standards. We aim to remediate this in a future update.
How to report a problem
We want to hear about any barriers you encounter. If you find something that does not work well with your assistive technology, or if you think we have missed a WCAG success criterion, please tell us:
Email: hello@themarginlabs.com Subject line: Accessibility issue
Please describe the page, the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge all accessibility reports within 5 working days and to provide a substantive response or fix within 30 days.
Enforcement
If you are a UK public body user and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
If you are a US user with a disability and believe you are being denied access to the site's content or functionality, you may contact us directly or refer to the relevant provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
